You'll be able to include the following CliClap events directly into your existing reports:

So how simple is it to set up?

From this option you can setup the integration between CliClap and Google Analytics. Note: for each Google Analytics Account you'll need to set up a new configuration using the Add Account Settings button.

In the form above we have the following fields and their requirements:

  • Tracker ID - Enter your Google Analytics tracking ID so that we can send the data to the correct account.
  • Tag Index - Enter the Custom Dimension index which represents CliClap Tags (this is optional and only relevant if you use Tags in CliClap).  This will allow you to analyze your visitor engagement sliced by the content segmentation/tag you have set up in CliClap.
  • Engagement Index - Enter the Custom Dimension index which represents CliClap Engagements.  This will allow you to analyze your visitor engagement at the User level.
  • Content type Index - Enter the Custom Dimension index which represents CliClap Content Type.  This will allow you to analyze your visitor engagement sliced by the content types that you have set up in CliClap.
  • Virtual Pageviews Enabled - Enable analytics from non website pages such as CliClap Posts, PDFs and YouTube.  The URLs will be shared similar to your website pageviews list.
